We support local farmers.
For 90 years, Publix has partnered with local produce growers. We’ve developed trusting, longstanding relationships with many in our areas of operation. We’re familiar with their practices, having visited their farms countless times, and we work together to get you the fresh produce you love.
Here are a few of our growers. See some from your state by selecting it below.
Arden’s Garden
Atlanta, GA
In 1995, Arden Zinn began her juicing journey by using a Norwalk cold-press juicer to make free juices for her friends. Arden's Garden now flourishes across seven states and has sixteen Georgia stores. Their secret? Cold-pressed goodness from real fruits and veggies with no preservatives, concentrates, artificial additives, or added sugar.
Flavor 1st
Mills River, NC
The produce legacy of Flavor 1st began in 1798 with James Noble Johnson in Western North Carolina. Eight generations later, his descendants continue as industry growers, packers, and shippers. In 2003, Kirby Johnson and Mitch Gaither founded Flavor 1st with family member Brian Rose. Today, they continue to raise the bar for fresh, flavorful fruits and vegetables.
Indian Hills
Immokalee, FL
The Corbitt family has come a long way since Uncle Bruce planted his first crop of cucumbers in 1968. Now, nephews Andy and Cory have carried on the family tradition. Together, they continue to share their dedication to and love of agriculture with their own sons, the youngest generation of Corbitt boys.
