Ingredients

  • Parchment paper
  • 1 (6 oz) slice Bakery cream cheese–iced vanilla cake
  • 12 dried strawberries
  • 1 (10 oz) bag white melting wafers
  • 12 (6-inch) wooden skewers (or lollipop sticks)
  • 1 (0.8 oz) bag freeze-dried strawberries

Steps

    1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Crumble cake finely into large bowl; stir with spoon until dough forms. Scoop about 2 teaspoons cake mixture and form into ball; press 1 dried strawberry into center. Repeat with remaining dough and dried strawberries. Arrange cake balls on prepared baking sheet. Cover and freeze 15 minutes or until firm.
    2. Melt wafers following package instructions. Dip flat end of each skewer into melted wafers, then press into cake balls (reserve remaining melted wafers). Press skewers into foam block (or egg carton) and let stand 10 minutes to set. Crush freeze-dried strawberries finely.
    3. Dip each cake pop completely into reserved melted wafers. Garnish tops of cake pops with crushed strawberries before coating sets. Place cake pops back into foam block and let stand 10 minutes to set. Serve.
