Ingredients

  • ¾ cup salted European-style butter
  • 8 oz Deli thin-sliced prosciutto
  • 1 (13.2 oz) wheel Deli Brie cheese
  • 12 oz Bakery French bread
  • 3 tablespoons sun-dried tomato spread
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Calabrian peppers
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons hot (or regular) honey
  • Fresh oregano leaves (optional for garnish)

Steps

    1. Set butter out to soften. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut prosciutto slices in half widthwise. Cut Brie into ¼-inch-thick, 3-inch-long slices. Cut bread into ¼-inch-thick slices and arrange on baking sheet; bake 5–6 minutes until toasted, then remove from oven and let stand to cool.
    2. Meanwhile, combine butter, tomato spread, peppers, dried oregano, and Parmesan; stir to thoroughly blend. Spread about 1 tablespoon mixture on each bread slice.
    3. Top with ½ piece prosciutto and 1 slice Brie; drizzle with hot honey. Bake 2–3 minutes until cheese has lightly softened. Top with 1 or 2 fresh oregano leaves, if using. Serve.
Chef's Tip: Chill any remaining butter and use as a topper for cooked fish, pork, chicken, or steak.
