Spicy Asparagus Sauté

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper

Steps

    1. Remove and discard tough root ends from asparagus, then cut spears into 2-inch pieces.
    2. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Combine oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper in medium bowl; add asparagus and toss to coat.
    3. Add bowl contents to pan; cook and stir 4–5 minutes until asparagus is desired tenderness. Serve.
