    Ingredients

    • 1 shallot
    • 1 cup fresh strawberries
    • 1 head butter lettuce
    • ¼ cup goat cheese
    • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
    • 4 teaspoons white balsamic vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    Steps

      1. Chop shallot very finely. Hull and quarter strawberries. Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces. Crumble cheese.
      2. Whisk oil, vinegar, mustard, sugar, garlic, shallot, salt, and pepper in small bowl.
      3. Place lettuce, strawberries, and goat cheese in salad bowl; add dressing and toss to coat. Serve.
