Ingredients
- ½ lemon, for juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon chopped garlic
- 4 (6 oz, ¾-inch-thick) swordfish steaks (about 1 ½ lb)
- 1 teaspoon Greek seasoning
Steps
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Juice lemon half (1 tablespoon). Combine olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic in medium bowl; reserve half. Season fish with Greek seasoning and coat with remaining half oil mixture.
- Grill fish 5–6 minutes on each side until centers of fillets flake easily and are 145°F. Brush with reserved oil mixture; serve.
Other Preparation Methods
- Broil: Preheat oven to broil on HIGH. Season 4 (6 oz, ¾-inch thick) swordfish steaks (about 1 ½ lb) with 1 tablespoon garlic-herb seasoning. Arrange fish on baking sheet (wash hands); broil 4–5 minutes until centers of fillets flake easily and are 145°F.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange 4 (6 oz, ¾-inch thick) swordfish steaks (about 1 ½ lb) in lightly oiled baking dish (wash hands); season with 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning. Bake 12–14 minutes until centers of fillets flake easily and are 145°F.
