Ingredients
- 4 Italian sausage links (about 1 lb)
- 4 Publix Bakery hoagie rolls
- ½ cup sliced black olives
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 8 (1-oz) slices provolone cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Preheat large, non-stick sauté pan on medium-high. Cook sausage, 4-5 minutes, turning often, or until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and cover; cook 8-10 minutes or until sausage is 160°F.
- Place sausages in rolls, top each with 2 tablespoons black olives, ¼ cup marinara sauce, and two slices cheese. Place on baking sheet; bake 4-5 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Other Preparation Methods
- Grill: Preheat grill. Place 1 lb sausage on grill and cover; grill 15-20 minutes, turning often, or until sausage is browned and 160°F.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F. Place 1 lb sausage on baking sheet and bake 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, or until sausage is browned and 160°F.
