Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- 1 oz lemon juice
- ½ oz agave nectar
- 2 oz club soda
- Lemon wheel (optional for garnish)
Steps
- Place all ingredients (except club soda and garnish) in cocktail shaker; shake vigorously to dissolve agave.
- Add ice and shake well; strain into an ice-filled old fashioned glass.
- Top with club soda. Garnish with lemon wheel, if desired.
Other Preparation Methods
Make it zippier.
Muddle slices of fresh jalapeño in bottom of cocktail shaker, then follow steps. Remove the seeds from jalapeño slices before muddling for less spice.
Add a salty tang.
Strain drink into a salt-rimmed margarita glass.
