Raspberry Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, for zest/juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries, divided
  • ½ gallon Publix Deli Old Fashioned Lemonade
  • 4 sprigs fresh basil, for garnish

Steps

    1. Zest lemons (2 teaspoons) and juice (¼ cup). Combine in small saucepan: zest, juice, sugar, water, and 1 cup raspberries; place on medium-high and simmer 8–10 minutes until sugar dissolves and berries fall apart. Remove from heat and let stand to cool.
    2. Strain cooled raspberry syrup through mesh strainer; discard pulp. Mix raspberry syrup and lemonade in large pitcher until blended. Pour into ice-filled glasses; garnish with basil sprigs and remaining raspberries. Serve.
