Puffy Berry Tart

Ingredients
  • Nonstick aluminum foil
  • 1 frozen puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, divided
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 (16-oz) package berry smoothie mix (such as raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
  • 4 oz mascarpone (or whipped cream cheese)
  • ¾ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
Steps
  1. Thaw puff pastry (30 minutes). Combine berries, (slice strawberries, if needed) balsamic glaze, and 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar; stir to combine, then set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with foil. Melt butter. Unfold pastry dough; place on prepared baking sheet. Brush dough with butter; fold over each side about 1-inch, crimping to seal, and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar.
  3. Bake 15–18 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside to cool (about 15 minutes). Combine mascarpone and yogurt; whisk until smooth. Spread yogurt mixture evenly on pastry crust. Top with the berry mixture (including any juices). Serve immediately.
