Plum-Basil Sparkler

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe plum
  • 5 large basil leaves (+ additional, optional for garnish)
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 4–6 oz club soda
  • Lime slice (optional for garnish)

Steps

    1. Halve plum; dice half and slice remaining half thinly. Muddle diced plum and basil in cocktail shaker.
    2. Add ice, gin, and simple syrup. Shake well; strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
    3. Top with club soda. Garnish with basil, plum slices, and lime slice, if desired.
