Pineapple Mojito Sangria

Ingredients

  • 2 limes, for slices
  • 1 oz fresh mint (+ more, optional for garnish)
  • ⅓ cup superfine sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle medium-bodied white wine
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup light rum (optional)
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • Pineapple wedges (optional for garnish)

Steps

    1. Slice limes thinly; remove mint leaves from stems. Muddle lime slices, mint leaves, and sugar in large pitcher.
    2. Add pineapple chunks, wine, pineapple juice, and rum, if using. Cover and chill 2–3 hours.
    3. Stir in lemon-lime soda and pour into ice-filled old fashioned glasses. Garnish with pineapple wedges and mint leaves, if desired.
