Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package diced fresh yellow onions
  • 8 oz sliced fresh white mushrooms
  • 14 oz sliced roast beef
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 slices provolone (or American) cheese (4 oz)
  • 12 Publix Bakery potato rolls

Steps

    1. Melt butter in large sauté pan on medium-high. Add onions and mushrooms; cook 6–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and softened. Chop beef coarsely.
    2. Add beef and Worcestershire sauce to pan; cook 1–2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until 165°F. Remove pan from heat; top mixture with cheese and let melt.
    3. Cut open rolls. Arrange bottom buns on work surface; top evenly with beef-cheese mixture, then complete with top buns. Serve.
Other Preparation Methods
    • Lunch: Fill 12 Publix Bakery potato rolls with warm meatballs, pasta sauce, and provolone for meatball sliders.
    • Dessert: Preheat oven to 350°F. Toss cubed Publix Bakery potato rolls with melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Arrange on baking sheet; bake 8–10 minutes until toasted.
