Ingredients
- 12 oz smoked Italian chicken sausage
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ½ cup chopped frozen onions
- 1 (24 oz) jar tomato-basil pasta sauce
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 (9 oz) package refrigerated five-cheese ravioli
Steps
- Cut sausage into ½-inch-thick slices. Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Add oil, garlic, onions, and sausage to pan; cook 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender and sausage has browned.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; simmer and stir 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender and sausage is 165°F. Serve.
