Ingredients
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger
- 6 cloves garlic
- ¾ cup vegetable broth (or stock)
- 4 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
- 8 oz Chinese noodles
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 cups angel hair coleslaw
- ⅓ cup sliced fresh green onions
Steps
- Bring water to a boil for noodles. Peel ginger, then chop ginger and garlic finely (1 tablespoon each). Combine broth, sesame oil, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and white pepper until blended.
- Cook and rinse noodles following package instructions; drain well.
- Heat vegetable oil in large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper. Cook and stir 30 seconds, then stir in coleslaw. Cook and stir 1 minute, then stir in broth mixture. Cook and stir 1 more minute, remove from heat, and stir in noodles and onions until coated. Serve.
