Ingredients
- 9 lemons, for juice/slices
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1.5 oz fresh mint (+ more, optional for garnish)
- 2 cups ginger ale
- 2 cups club soda
- Crushed ice
Steps
- Juice 8 lemons (1 cup); slice remaining lemon into thin wheels. Combine lemon juice, sugar, and water in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium-high, then remove from heat and chill.
- Muddle mint and lemon slices in tall pitcher. Pour ginger ale, club soda, and chilled lemon syrup into pitcher; stir well.
- Fill glasses with crushed ice and pour in julep mix. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
