Ingredients
- 1.5 oz fresh mint
- ½ bunch fresh cilantro
- 4 green onions
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger
- 1 small, fresh jalapeño
- 1 lemon, for juice
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ cup canola oil
Steps
- Remove mint (1 cup) and cilantro (½ cup) leaves from stems. Cut green onions into 1-inch pieces; peel ginger and chop coarsely (1 tablespoon). Chop jalapeño, removing membranes and seeds if desired. Juice lemon (1 tablespoon).
- Place in bowl of food processor: mint leaves, cilantro leaves, onions, ginger, jalapeños, lemon juice, sugar, cumin, and salt; pulse until combined. Drizzle in oil slowly, with processor running; continue processing until smooth. (Makes about 1 cup.)
