    Ingredients

    • 1.5 oz fresh mint
    • ½ bunch fresh cilantro
    • 4 green onions
    • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
    • 1 small, fresh jalapeño
    • 1 lemon, for juice
    • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
    • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    • ¼ cup canola oil

    Steps

      1. Remove mint (1 cup) and cilantro (½ cup) leaves from stems. Cut green onions into 1-inch pieces; peel ginger and chop coarsely (1 tablespoon). Chop jalapeño, removing membranes and seeds if desired. Juice lemon (1 tablespoon).
      2. Place in bowl of food processor: mint leaves, cilantro leaves, onions, ginger, jalapeños, lemon juice, sugar, cumin, and salt; pulse until combined. Drizzle in oil slowly, with processor running; continue processing until smooth. (Makes about 1 cup.)
