Ingredients
- 1 ripe Hass avocado
- ⅓ cup baby spinach
- 2 tablespoons vanilla whey protein powder (optional)
- 8 oz low-fat vanilla milk
- ½ cup low-fat vanilla kefir (or yogurt)
- 1 cup ice
- ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ½ oz dark chocolate
Steps
- Halve avocado and discard pit; scoop out flesh and cut into chunks. Add to blender: avocado, spinach, whey powder (if using), milk, kefir, ice, and extract; blend until smooth.
- Chop chocolate. Divide shake between 2 large glasses; top with chocolate. Serve.
