Ingredients
- Kosher salt (optional for rim)
- 1 watermelon wedge (+ more, optional for garnish)
- ½ oz lime juice
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- 3 oz watermelon juice
- 2 oz tequila
- ½ oz orange liqueur
- 2 oz tonic water
Steps
- Moisten rim of Collins glass and dip into salt, if using; fill glass with ice. Chop watermelon finely.
- Muddle watermelon, lime juice, and agave in cocktail shaker. Add ice, watermelon juice, tequila, and orange liqueur. Shake well; strain into prepared glass.
- Top with tonic water; garnish with watermelon wedge, if desired.
Other Preparation Methods
Make it even more refreshing.
Freeze watermelon chunks to use in place of ice cubes.
Make it a watermelon spritzer.
Substitute vodka for the tequila and soda water for the tonic water.
