Ingredients
- ½ medium red onion
- 8 frozen jalapeño poppers
- 4 (6 oz) ground beef patties
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices pepper Jack cheese (about 4 oz)
- 8 teaspoons jalapeño cream cheese spread
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup baby spinach leaves
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Preheat grill pan (or grill) on medium-high. Slice onion thinly. Bake stuffed jalapeños following package instructions.
- Season patties with salt and pepper and place in pan; cook 3–4 minutes on each side and until meat is 160°F. Top each patty with 1 cheese slice during last minute of cook time.
- Spread 2 teaspoons cream cheese on inside of each bun. Top bottom half of each bun with burger, onions, ¼ cup spinach, 2 stuffed jalapeños, and top half of bun. Serve.
