Herbed Mahi-Mahi

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb mahi-mahi fillets (¾-inch thick)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herb paste

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Season fish with salt and pepper; place on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes and until opaque and separates easily.
    2. Combine butter and herb paste; top fish with mixture.
    Always check fish for bones and cook to an internal temperature of 145°F.
Other Preparation Methods
    • Grill: Preheat grill to medium. Brush 1 ½ lb mahi-mahi (¾-inch thick) with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill fish 3–4 minutes on each side and until opaque and separates easily.
    • Broil: Preheat oven to broil. Brush 1 ½ lb mahi-mahi (¾-inch thick) lightly with olive oil, season with 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Place fish on pan; broil 5–6 minutes and until opaque and separates easily
