Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb (½-inch-thick) bone-in pork chops
- ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ginger stir-in paste
- 1 cup light beer
- Large zip-top bag
Steps
- Place all ingredients in zip-top bag (wash hands). Seal and let stand 30 minutes (or chill overnight) to marinate.
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Place pork chops on grill over direct heat (discard marinade); grill 4–6 minutes on each side until grill-marked and 145°F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Other Preparation Methods
- Panfry: Place ¼ cup all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon seasoned salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper in zip-top bag. Add 1 ½ lb bone-in pork chops (wash hands); seal bag and shake to coat. Preheat 2 tablespoons canola oil in large sauté pan on medium. Place pork chops in pan; cook 5–6 minutes on each side until pork is 145°F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F. Season 1 ½ lb bone-in pork chops with 1 teaspoon creole seasoning and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Arrange on foil-lined baking sheet; bake 12–14 minutes until pork is 145°F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
