Ingredients
- 2 medium, unripe bananas
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon rum extract
- 1 (16 oz) Bakery GreenWise New York Style Cheesecake
Steps
- Peel bananas and cut into ½-inch slices. Cook butter, sugar, and cinnamon in large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir in extract, then add bananas; cook and stir 1–2 minutes or until hot. Serve immediately over cheesecake.
Other Preparation Methods
- Dipped: Scoop cheesecake into bite-size balls, place on wax paper, and chill. Dip cheesecake balls in melted chocolate; chill until chocolate is firm.
- Topped: Combine 1 lb mixed berries and 3 tablespoons each sugar and balsamic vinegar in medium bowl; let stand 1 hour to macerate. Serve over cheesecake for an Italian-style treat.
