Ingredients
- 2 oz room-temperature espresso
- 1 oz bourbon
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
- Orange slice (optional for garnish)
- Maraschino cherry (optional for garnish)
Steps
- Fill cocktail shaker with ice; add all ingredients (except garnishes).
- Shake well; strain into ice-filled old fashioned glass.
- Garnish with orange slice and maraschino cherry, if desired.
Other Preparation Methods
Serve it hot.
Use 4 oz hot espresso and combine with remaining ingredients (except garnishes). Top with whipped cream; garnish with a cherry.
Add a touch of orange.
Muddle some orange segments in glass before adding ice or add some freshly grated orange zest.
