Easy Air Fryer Candied Pecans
12 servings
30 minutes total
Ingredients
  • Parchment paper
  • ¼ cup egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 16 oz pecan (or walnut) halves (about 4 cups)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Cooking spray
Steps
  1. Preheat air fryer to 300°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Place egg whites, water, and vanilla in large bowl; beat with electric mixer until frothy. Add both sugars, cinnamon, and salt; whisk until well blended. Add pecans and toss to coat thoroughly (mixture should cling to pecans).
  2. Coat air fryer basket with cooking spray. Spoon even layer of pecans into basket (in batches; pecans may overlap slightly). Place in air fryer and cook 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove pecans and place on baking sheet; repeat with remaining pecans. Let cool 10 minutes to set. Serve.
Chef's Tip: Store candied nuts in airtight container up to 3 weeks.
