Ingredients
- Parchment paper
- ¼ cup egg whites
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 oz pecan (or walnut) halves (about 4 cups)
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- Cooking spray
Steps
- Preheat air fryer to 300°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Place egg whites, water, and vanilla in large bowl; beat with electric mixer until frothy. Add both sugars, cinnamon, and salt; whisk until well blended. Add pecans and toss to coat thoroughly (mixture should cling to pecans).
- Coat air fryer basket with cooking spray. Spoon even layer of pecans into basket (in batches; pecans may overlap slightly). Place in air fryer and cook 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove pecans and place on baking sheet; repeat with remaining pecans. Let cool 10 minutes to set. Serve.
