Double Chocolate Banana Cookies

Ingredients
    • For gift jar
    • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 5 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
    • ¼ cup cocoa powder
    • ⅓ cup peanut butter powder
    • 1 pint mason jar with lid
    • For baking
    • Nonstick aluminum foil
    • 2 medium bananas
    • 1 large egg
    • ¼ cup water
    • ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips
    Steps
    1. Assemble gift jar. Layer dry ingredients in jar in order listed. Place lid tightly on jar; attach baking ingredients and instructions.
    Baking instructions
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with foil. Place contents of jar in large bowl; whisk to combine.
    2. Place bananas in small bowl and mash with fork. Add egg and water to bananas; whisk to blend. Add banana mixture to cookie mixture and stir to blend into a dough. Stir (fold) in chocolate chips.
    3. Scoop cookies (about 1 tablespoon each) onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 18–20 minutes until edges are crisp and centers are 160°F; serve.
