Ingredients
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries)
- 3 tablespoons no-sugar-added almond butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- ¼ cup chocolate and oat granola clusters
- Large zip-top bag
- 8 whole grain waffles
Steps
- Place berries, almond butter, and water in microwave-safe bowl; cover and microwave on HIGH 1–1 ½ minutes until berries are soft and warm. Mash with whisk (or fork) and stir until blended; chill 1 hour. Place granola in bag; seal bag and crush granola into small pieces.
- Toast waffles following package instructions. Spread berry mixture on 1 side of 4 waffles; top with granola and remaining 4 waffles to make sandwiches. Serve.
