Chex Crescent Sausage Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • Parchment paper
  • 3 green onions
  • 4 cups General Mills Honey Nut Chex cereal, divided
  • 1 (8 oz) tube Pillsbury Butter Flake Crescents
  • 8 oz mild Italian pork sausage
  • 2 teaspoons umami seasoning
  • 1 cup chili crisp (optional, for serving)

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray baking sheet lightly and line with parchment paper. Slice green onions thinly; crush cereal (reserve 1 cup) and add to large bowl.
    2. Unroll crescent rolls and cut each portion in half lengthwise. Arrange in same order on prepared baking sheet.
    3. Combine in medium bowl: sausage, green onions, umami seasoning, and reserved 1 cup crushed cereal until blended. Divide sausage mixture into 16 equal portions. Place 1 portion sausage mixture on widest part of each crescent roll. Roll up each.
    4. Coat each roll with spray lightly, then dip each in remaining crushed cereal. Space evenly on baking sheet; bake 18–20 minutes until sausage is 160°F. Serve immediately with chili crisp (if desired).
