Ingredients

- Parchment paper
- 3 green onions
- 4 cups General Mills Honey Nut Chex cereal, divided
- 1 (8 oz) tube Pillsbury Butter Flake Crescents
- 8 oz mild Italian pork sausage
- 2 teaspoons umami seasoning
- 1 cup chili crisp (optional, for serving)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray baking sheet lightly and line with parchment paper. Slice green onions thinly; crush cereal (reserve 1 cup) and add to large bowl.
- Unroll crescent rolls and cut each portion in half lengthwise. Arrange in same order on prepared baking sheet.
- Combine in medium bowl: sausage, green onions, umami seasoning, and reserved 1 cup crushed cereal until blended. Divide sausage mixture into 16 equal portions. Place 1 portion sausage mixture on widest part of each crescent roll. Roll up each.
- Coat each roll with spray lightly, then dip each in remaining crushed cereal. Space evenly on baking sheet; bake 18–20 minutes until sausage is 160°F. Serve immediately with chili crisp (if desired).
