Ingredients
- 4 fresh (or frozen, thawed) cherries, pits removed
- ¼ oz agave nectar
- 1 lemon slice (+ more, optional for garnish)
- 1 ½ oz medium-bodied red wine
- 1 oz bourbon
- Cinnamon stick (optional for garnish)
Steps
- Muddle cherries, agave nectar, and lemon slice in cocktail shaker.
- Add ice, wine, and bourbon. Shake vigorously to dissolve agave; strain into an ice-filled highball glass.
- Garnish with lemon slice and cinnamon stick, if desired.
Other Preparation Methods
Make it toasty.
Toast cinnamon stick before adding to drink.
Don't like cherries?
Substitute strawberries for the cherries.
