Ingredients
- ½ head savoy cabbage
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Steps
- Halve the cabbage and then cut one of the halves into four wedges through the core (leaving core intact).
- Heat the oil in large sauté pan on medium-high. Add the cabbage. Sear the cabbage to a deep golden brown on each face, then season with salt and pepper.
- Add ¼ cup water and cover; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3–5 minutes, turning once, or until tender.
