Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, for juice
  • 6 cups fresh (or frozen) mixed berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
  • 1 cup sugar

Steps

    1. Squeeze lemon for juice (1 tablespoon). Stir all ingredients in large saucepan until coated. Set aside for 30 minutes.
    2. Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer and stir 12–15 minutes or until sauce has thickened and berries have broken down (for a smoother mixture, smash berries with back of spoon while stirring).
