Ingredients
...for Gouda spread
- 1 green onion
- ¼ cup sweet with onions fried peppers
- 4 oz Castello Hickory Smoked Gouda Round cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic blend paste
- 3 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons Heinz Real Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dill relish
- ⅛ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
...for burgers
- 4 (6 oz) prime beef burgers
- 4 teaspoons roasted garlic-butter seasoning
- 4 Bakery French hamburger buns
- Aluminum foil
- Roasted Banana Pepper Mayup (see recipe)
Steps
- Prepare Gouda spread. Thinly slice green onion; drain fried peppers and chop coarsely. Grate cheese.
- Combine in medium bowl: green onions, fried peppers, Gouda, garlic, cream cheese, mayonnaise, relish, paprika, and pepper until well blended. Reserve until ready to use.
- Prepare burgers. Preheat grill pan on medium-high for 5–6 minutes. Preheat oven broiler on high and set oven rack to middle of oven. Evenly season both sides of burgers with garlic-butter seasoning. Place burgers on grill (wash hands). Grill burgers 4–5 minutes on each side and until 160°F.
- Halve hamburger buns; arrange split buns on foil-lined baking sheet. Broil 1–2 minutes, until toasted. To serve, spread top and bottom of buns with Roasted Banana Pepper Mayup. Top bottom half of bun with cooked burgers; garnish with reserved Gouda spread then top with top half of bun. Serve.
