Ingredients
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (13.8 oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 small red onion
- 1 wedge smoked Gouda (or sharp cheddar) cheese (7–8 oz)
- ½ cup salsa con queso (cheese) dip
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, divided
- 12 oz sauce-less pulled pork (or chicken)
- 1 cup mini sweet pepper rings
- 2 tablespoons sliced fresh green onions
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Flour hands lightly; unroll dough and pat evenly into 12- x 9-inch rectangle on nonstick (or lightly greased) baking sheet.
- Halve onion and slice thinly (½ cup). Shred cheese (2 cups). Combine salsa con queso and ¼ cup barbecue sauce; spread evenly over crust. Top evenly with pork, pepper rings, red onions, and shredded cheese. Bake 15–18 minutes (depending on thickness of pizza) until crust is golden and crisp and pork is 165°F. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle pizza with green onions and drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce. Cut into 3- x 3-inch party squares and serve.
