Made with love for over 50 years.
The Publix Bakery was formed in 1957, and we've been making bread from scratch ever since. Today we offer more than a dozen scratch-made varieties, including some of those first recipes from way back then. And our bakers still use the same traditional bread-making techniques we've been using for over 50 years to make all of our fresh breads and rolls.
Artisan craftsmanship might not be the key to efficient bread-making. But it is essential to making really, really good bread: light and airy or dense and chewy, soft or crunchy on the outside, and always incredibly flavorful. We're proud to make some of your favorite Publix Bakery breads and rolls from scratch, because that's how the best bread is made. And that's why we do it.
Look for our scratch-made breads and rolls at your Publix Bakery. Here are some of our favorites:
- Italian Five-Grain
- Sourdough Round
- Cuban Bread
- White Mountain
- French Bread
- Baguettes
- Chicago Hard Rolls
- Hoagie Rolls
