It is how we pass on what we know, how we process experiences, and how we create new ideas. The Balvenie stories range documents these tales of true character. From this distillery comes: [1] The sweet toast of american oak a deliciously sweet, rich and fruity variation of The Balvenie, created by finishing the whisky In twice toasted, Virgin American Oak Barrels. Please drink responsibly. Inspired to produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea to import Virgin Oak Barrels from Kentucky. After deep toasting them at The Balvenie cooperage they were filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a delectably complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla. David C Stewart, The Balvenie Malt Master.
