Red Bodegas Salentein pioneered the development of premium wines in Valle de Uco (Uco Valley). The ideal conditions of the region foil grape growing. Combined with the unique qualities of our estate vineyards located between 1,050 and 1700 meters high and the benefit of its five different microclimates, results in wines with exceptional characteristics. Variety: 100% Malbec (from vineyards between 3,600-4,265 feet above sea level) Aged in French & American Oak barrels for 12 months. Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red and garnet bues, Salentein Reserve Malbec displays on the nose aromas of black cherries and blackberries complemented by delicate floral notes and a hint of tobacco. The palate is balanced, intense and complex with flavors of red currants, black cherry and cinnamon that lend a level of sophistication at the long, moderately dry finish.
