Keep refrigerated. Peppers & Onions Cooking Instructions: To Microwave: Place one pound of sausage in covered casserole dish for 4-6 minutes on high power. Drain and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Microwave ovens vary - times are approximate. To Broil: Place sausage on broiler rack and cook for 20-24 minutes. Turn once during cooking cycle to ensure even browning. To Pan Fry: Place sausage in fry pan with 3 tablespoons of water and cover the pan. Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, remove cover and cook for an additional 14-16 minutes. To Grill Outdoor: Place sausage on preheated grill about 7-9 inches above fire. Cook about 20-25 minutes turning sausage until golden brown. Recommend cooking to a minimum of 160 degrees F.
