Cook in About 5 Minutes: 1 (Servings); 1/4 Cup (Grits); 1 Cup (Water); Dash (Salt (Optional)); 4 (Servings); 1 Cup (Grits); 4 Cups (Water); 1/4 tsp. (Salt (Optional)). Hot Water: (1) Slowly stir grits and salt into briskly boiling water. (2) Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Quick and easy. Microwave (Microwave ovens vary in power; cooking time may need to be adjusted) (1 Serving): (1) Combine water, grits and salt in 2 cup microwave-safe bowl; stir.
