Note: Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon salt per cup of rice added to boiling water, if desired. Microwave Instructions: Place 1-3/4 cups water and 1 cup rice in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave (microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed) on high for 5 minutes or until boiling, then microwave on medium (50% power) for 10 more minutes. Remove from microwave and let stand 5 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender.
