During training, stick to a schedule, and immediately take the dog to the training pad after he or she finishes eating, after playing, or after any other stimulation. Place pad on floor with tissue side up in an area away from pet's bedding or food. Place your pet on the pad to get accustomed to it. Reward your pet when he or she uses the pad. If your pet goes elsewhere, immediately bring him or her back to the pad. Continue this process. Once your pet is trained to use pad indoors, follow the same process to train your pet to go outside. Dispose of properly.
