Heating Instructions
To heat the Publix Deli fully cooked mojo pork.This item is fully cooked and may be eaten either hot or cold. For best results, we recommend that you follow these preparation instructions.
1. If you are reheating the pork in a conventional oven: Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
2. Remove pork from wrapper.
3. Position pork on flat roasting rack in 2” roasting pan.
4. Place pork, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan.
5. To prevent over-browning, loosely cover pork with lightweight foil after 60 to 75 minutes.
6. Heat the pork for approximately 90 to 120 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Check temperature by inserting the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the meat.
7. Slice or shred to desired thickness and serve. Refrigerate the unused portion immediately.To heat Rice and Pigeon PeasFor best results: Bake in a conventional oven. Cook thoroughly before eating.In a conventional oven:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Remove plastic lid from container.
3. Place container on baking sheet.
4. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until rice reaches 165°F.
5. Let product stand for 5 minutes.
6. Carefully remove plastic film, stir, and then serve.
7. Refrigerate or discard any unused portions.
Note: Ovens vary; adjust time as needed.In the microwave:
1. Remove plastic lid.
2. Heat on high (100% power) for 3 minutes.
3. Carefully remove from the microwave, peel back plastic film, stir, cover, and cook for an additional 2 ½ to 3 minutes.
4. Cook until thoroughly heated and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
5. Stir before serving.
6. Refrigerate or discard any unused portion.
