Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. In saucepan, bring water to a boil (Cooking Measurement Chart: For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2-1/2 cups; Yield: 3-1/2 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 5. Rice: 2 cups; Water: 5 cups; Yield: 7 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 9. Rice: 3 cups; Water: 7-1/2 cups; Yield: 10-1/2 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 14). 2. Stir in rice (Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 3. Cover.
