Product details Less sugar than leading electrolyte solutions (15 g sugar per liter v 25 g sugar per liter). Hydralyte is based on the World Health Organization's recommended formulation for rehydration. 1 Liter of Hydralyte Provides: sodium 60 mEq, potassium 20 mEq, chloride 35 mEq, citrate 105 mEq, dextrose 90 mM (16.2 g). Directions for use: Use under medical supervision. Slip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. Do not dilute. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days. Dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhea: Age less than1 year - 7-14 fl oz take in first 6 hours. Age 1-12 Years: 14-50 fl oz take in first 6 hours. Age 12 Years-Adult - 50-68 fl oz take in first 6 hours. Recommended amounts based on age and weight. Dehydration due to other causes: Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting the signs of dehydration. Store in a cool, dry place below 86 degrees F.
