The thing about bucks are, they're big, strong, and they make their presence felt. That notion sorta inspired us to brew Eight Point IPA, the first beer we ever brewed at Devils Backbone. It's got a nice hoppy presence but is approachable. It's gold, medium-bodied, and made with four malts, plus brash American hop varieties like Bravo, Columbus, Cascade, Amarillo, and Centennial. We don't have any proof that a buck would like it, but we're pretty sure they'd respect it. Our Mission: To enrich our community by enhancing back porches, campfires, dinner tables, hiking summits, fishing boats, beach chairs, pig roasts, tailgates, crab feasts, ball games, ski lodges, strummin' sessions, and anywhere else you find yourself enjoying life. The first beer we ever brewed at Devils Backbone. Gold, medium-bodied, and made with four malts, plus brash American hop varieties like Bravo, Columbus, Cascade, Amarillo, and Centennial. Nice hoppy presence but is approachable. 6.2% ABV and 70 IBU. Devils Backbone Eight Point IPA pairs well with smoked beef brisket, grilled lamb; Southern chicken-fried steak.
