Cooking Directions. Stove Top: 1. Cut the pouch open and combine rice and water in a saucepan. 2. Bring to a full boil, reduce heat (medium-low to medium) and simmer covered 10 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 5 minutes until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. Alternate Cook Method: Microwave: 1. Cut the pouch open and combine rice and water in a 2-qt. Microwave-safe glass dish. 2. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap and cook on high for 12-15 minutes until water is absorbed. 3. Fluff with fork and serve. Product will be hot (Caution - be careful when removing cover). Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Adjust cooking time as needed.
