    Instructions

    Ingredients

    • 1 whole fresh pineapple
    • 8 (12-inch) wooden skewers
    • 2 limes, for juice
    • 3 tablespoons honey
    • Cooking spray

    Steps

      1. Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Slice off top green crown and about ½ inch from bottom of pineapple, if needed. Stand pineapple upright on cutting board; cut into quarters from top to bottom. Cut each quarter into ½-inch-thick slices (24 slices). Thread 3 pineapple slices onto each skewer.
      2. Juice limes (2 tablespoons). Whisk lime juice and honey until blended. Brush mixture over pineapple, reserving about one-half of the glaze.
      3. Coat pineapple with spray. Place skewers on grill; grill 2–3 minutes on each side until pineapple slices begin to brown. Brush with remaining glaze; serve.
