Apple Spice Cake

Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup whipped topping
Steps
  1. Melt butter. Whisk eggs and apple pie filling into butter until blended and apples break into small pieces. Place cake mix and apple pie spice in separate large bowl; whisk until blended, then stir in wet ingredients until combined.
  2. Coat bowl of 4–6 quart slow cooker with spray, then sprinkle flour on bottom and sides until coated. Pour batter into slow cooker; cover and cook on HIGH 3–4 hours until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  3. Let stand 10 minutes, then turn cake out onto serving platter. Drizzle with caramel sauce; serve warm with whipped topping.

Do not eat raw dough/batter.
