Dora and Diego  Back to Events

Invite characters from your child's favorite TV shows "Dora the Explorer" and "Go, Diego, Go!"to join in birthday festivities. A Dora- or Diego-theme party offers an adventure-filled experience for budding explorers.

To match the interactive theme of both shows, play participation-based games. For example, celebrate Diego's love for animals with a Safari Search. Then have guests rescue Dora's signature purple bag and find party favors during the Backpack Adventure Game. 

When the games are finished, provide materials for guests to make paper animals. Supply silhouettes of a variety of animals cut from colored paper. Guests can apply precut dots and stripes to decorate their animals. Have extra paper on hand if kids want to draw their own.

Between activities, sing songs such as Dora's 'Backpack Song' or Diego's 'It's a Whale' song. You could also give each guest a Spanish name or have guests try the basic Spanish vocabulary words used on both shows.
