Average earnings range from $44,300 per year for entry-level managers to $110,700 per year for Store Managers. Promoting from WithinWhile we occasionally hire outside candidates to fill management positions, most promotions are made from within because we want to be sure our managers are fully aware of our standards, our best practices, and our culture.That doesn’t mean outside candidates with supermarket management experience have to start in an entry-level position. They may be hired into positions leading to management, making them eligible to be considered for management positions in as little as six months.
