Ingredients
- 2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons kosher salt
Steps
- Slice onions. Combine in large bowl: vinegar, water, sugar, and salt; whisk until sugar and salt dissolve.
- Place onions in a 32-oz mason jar (with a lid); pour the vinegar mixture over the onions. Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Chill until ready to serve.
